Likas Papaya Soap is one of the oldest skin whitening soaps on the market. It is manufactured in the Philippines and made from organic herbs. Likas Papaya Soap’s main function is to whiten skin. The main ingredient in the soap is papain extract, which comes from papaya. Papaya is an organic ingredient known to break down a range of proteins including dead skin cells. This Likas Papaya Soap Review explains in detail our testers experience of using Likas Papaya Soap.
As in previous tests with Marie France and Kojie San Soap, our tester used the Likas Papaya Soap for a 45 day period. Likas Papaya Soap can be used more frequently than other skin whitening soaps because it doesn’t contain any Kojic Acid. The soap only contains organic herbs and therefore is not as potent as Kojic acid soaps. She applied the soap to her skin every second day both in the morning and in the evening. She did this for the first two weeks. Then, gradually over the remaining 4.5 weeks she started using the soap every day both in the morning and evening. In the first two weeks she left the soap on her skin for 2-4 minutes. By the final week (5-7 weeks), she was leaving the soap on her skin for up to 6-7 minutes. During the entire time, our tester monitored the effects the Likas Papaya Soap was having on her skin. No skin irritation or any other problems arose. That is when she began to increase the intensity of using the soap.
It took about 2-3 weeks for the skin whitening effects to begin to show. The Likas Papaya Soap is a very mild skin whitening soap. This means that is can be used frequently and for a long period of time. Our tester took a 1 week break, but she has now continued using the soap. Once you become a regular user of the soap it is important to be using it in conjunction with a moisturizing soap. Moreover, you should also be applying a moisturizer to your skin several times a week.
The Likas Papaya Soap also helped clear our tester acne and dark spots. The results for this were incredible. This is what she had to say about it:
“Likas Papaya Soap has cleared most of my scarring and it has only been 6 weeks. I am just ecstatic!! I have been receiving compliments about my skin from all my friends and family. It is amazing, I can’t walk by a mirror without wanting to look at my face. Now I can go without painting my face with tons of concealer and foundation.”
Likas Papaya Soap has also developed a reputation for getting rid of dark spots on the knees and elbows. Many of the reviews on Amazon mention how this soap helped lighten dark areas on ones knees and elbows. Just like our tester, many other Amazon reviewers have mentioned that they continue to use the soap to this day. This is because the soap is 100% organic and is very mild on the skin.
